Poi are balls on the end of strings and Poi swinging is a traditional New Zealand art form that's been adapted and updated for the twenty-first century. You hold one string in each hand and swing the balls, producing beautiful and fascinating patterns in the air. In this workshop you will learn the basics of poi swinging as well as a few more advanced techniques. Nina will have some practice poi available and will also be selling poi at the festival.
