Tickets are $15 for adults (and each adult ticket includes two under 18s!), $10 for students, and $5 for additional under 18s, cash only. Tickets are available at the festival and at the door, or reserve yours here.

Starring: Michael Karas!

From New York City, Michael Karas is an international award-winning juggler who has toured the world for the past ten years with his incredible performances. We're thrilled to have him with us in Kingston, doing an extended performance as the second act of our show! Michael's shows blend juggling with comedy, acting, dance, and even puppets to create unbeatable entertainment for all ages. Incredibly versatile, Michael is renowned for inventing new tricks, new props and entirely new styles of juggling. He has also co-written and co-starred in a successful off-Broadway juggling-themed play.

Your host: Bekka Rose!

Bekka Rose is a professional Montreal-based circus artist renowned for her uniquely lyrical juggling style. She graduated from the Quebec Circus School in 2013 with juggling as her main discipline. She has performed throughout North America, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East in productions ranging from stage performances to street shows to film and television. She is thrilled to be hosting the 2018 Limestone City Juggling Festival Show and we're totally stoked to have her!

Katherine Marino

Katherine Marino has been teaching and performing professionally for over ten years and is trained in a wide array of movement styles including contemporary dance, aerial silks, partner acrobatics, contact improvisation, and juggling. She is a veteran of the esteemed PUSH Physical Theatre, where she combined her knowledge of contemporary dance with mime, circus, and theatrical storytelling. Since then Katherine has performed nationally and internationally including in South America, Europe, Asia, and all across the USA. When she isn’t traveling the world, Katherine is based in Rochester, NY.

Kipper Christopher Martin (The Pyroneer)

The Pyroneer is a fire performer and flow arts instructor from Toronto, Ontario. He specializes in poi, but also spins staff and hoops. He is a frequent collaborator and has worked with The Pyroflys, Zero Gravity Circus, The New Model Circus Army, Red Pepper Spectacle Arts, Kinshira, MythMaker and many more. A true road warrior, he has been travelling and teaching around North America since 2013.

Dominique Rabideau

Dominique Rabideau is a Montreal-based juggler who has been performing for over 10 years. Specializing in hat manipulation, Dominique’s high-energy performance style has been described as playful and musical, and she has juggled alongside bands such as Tera Melos, Floral, and Gulfer. When she’s not juggling, you can find her creating macarons, cakes and other sweet treats, as The Wizard’s Baker.

Austin Smith

Austin Smith is a performance artist specializing in juggling. No stranger to moving his body, Austin learned to juggle when he was just 7 years old and has been crafting dance oriented juggling routines for 4 years. He has performed these routines as a busker on Church Street Marketplace in Burlington, VT along with various music and street festivals in New England. He has also participated in Drumlines as a quad player, which has influenced his juggling. Austin’s style is technical, aggressive and colorful – his awe inspiring juggling paired with colorful energy always inspires the crowd!

Kevin Chen

A past winner of the X-Juggling 3-ball extreme competition, Kevin is truly a ball juggler’s ball juggler. When not throwing things he keeps busy making deals, designing molecules, and doing science education as part of a cutting-edge synthetic biology startup in Montréal. A former president of the Queen’s Jugglers, he’s happy to be back on his home turf and sharing his love of spheres with you.

Sebastien Ferlo

Sebastian Ferlo has been doing circus all his life — in fact you could say he was born doing circus since his parents first met in Ringling Brothers as performers! Specializing in the diabolo, Sebastien's performances mix high-level technical skills with music, movement and character to mesmerizing effect. He has worked as a circus coach at Circus Smirkus Summer Camp for the last three years and is a former president of the Rochester Institute of Technology juggling club.

The Gala Show is part of the Limestone City Juggling Festival hosted by the Queen's and Kingston Jugglers' Clubs.
