Overview

It’s a party for jugglers and anyone who wants to learn, with an open gym, workshops, games, and an amazing show! Admission to the juggling space is free, with donations gratefully accepted. Gala Show tickets are $15 for adults (including two under 18 per adult ticket), $10 for students, and $5 for additional under 18s.

The festival is co-hosted by the Queen’s and Kingston Jugglers’ Clubs.

Locations

On Friday evening we'll be in the main Gymnasium of Kingston Collegiate and Vocational Institute (KCVI), 235 Frontenac Street. Enter through the doors off the KCVI parking lot on Alfred Street.

Saturday and Sunday, juggling and workshops will be in Wallace Hall of the John Deutsch University Centre, 87 Union Street West. Direction signs will be posted inside all JDUC entrances.

The Gala Show will be in the KCVI Auditorium. Enter through the main doors at 235 Frontenac Street..

Friday, 19 October
7 pm – 10 pm: open juggling and workshops in the KCVI Gym

Saturday, 4 November
10 am – 6 pm: open juggling and workshops in Wallace Hall
7 – 9 pm: Gala Show!
9 pm – midnight: open juggling in Wallace Hall

Sunday, 4 November
10 am – 5 pm: open juggling and workshops in Wallace Hall

Workshops

There will be workshops on a variety of topics, hosted by expert jugglers, throughout the festival. All workshops are free; all you need to do is show up!

Learn to juggle workshops will be on Saturday at 11am and 1pm. Thanks to a donation from Pure Circus the first ten (at least!) people who come learn to juggle will get a set of three high quality juggling balls from Higgins Brothers.

The workshop schedule will also be posted in the main juggling hall.

Accommodations

Hotels. Unfortunately the festival coincides with Queen's University Homecoming Weekend this year, which means that almost every hotel room in a 40 km radius is already booked. Yes, we're sorry; there were Reasons.
